The summer holidays have been and gone and the first week of school runs are out the way! As all the mums breathe a collective sigh of relief, and all the teachers…well they just collectively sigh! The start of term-time means one thing for full-time mums everywhere, it’s time to reclaim some precious time and put yourselves first (at least for an hour per day!).
What better way to do that, than to kick-start your fitness and get back on the gains train! Whatever stresses and strains that you deal with on a daily basis, there is one thing that is for sure, exercise is a miracle cure! Better than any prescriptive drug, or unhealthy vice, exercise is the most cost effective, health effective, happiness effective solution available! Consistency in the gym leads to a happy mum and ultimately a happy family.
There is so much choice these days when it comes to gyms, exercise classes and types of equipment. It’s sometimes hard to separate the gimics, from effective training regimes.

At CrossFit Leyland, we offer classes throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. The 9:30 am class has been really popular with our CrossFitting mums since we introduced it, as it fits in well after the school run. This week coming, we will be putting on a taster class at 10:30 am for anyone interested in getting healthier, fitter and trying out CrossFit. Feel free to pop down a bit earlier and you can take a look at the 9:30am class in action before the taster class starts at 10:30.
