What made you start CrossFit?
I was completely fed up of the usual boring training style of mainstream gyms, no drive meant no results and no goals to aim for.
What does CrossFit mean to you?
CrossFit is a great way to learn new skills and push your fitness way beyond anything I’d be able to do within regular gym environments or on my own.
How long have you been coaching at CrossFit Leyland?
I’ve coached since around the end of 2013/early 2014 when the new gym opened.
What is your favourite class to teach?
I’d have to say foundations. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of what CrossFit is about.
If you had to sum CrossFit up in 3 words what would they be
God damn awesome!
What would your advice be to our members in terms of their training?
Make sure you hit your mobility as hard as you hit each WOD, time off the gym floor mobilising is just as important if not more important as the hour spent on it.
