1. How long have you been doing CrossFit for?
Just over a year and a half
2. Has your attitude changed since starting CrossFit?
Yes, a lot! Before I joined I had been out of sport and injured for over 18 months. I was pretty scared after not being able to do much exercise whilst I was injured. I was only a few months post op after my ACL reconstruction so I was quite limited with what I could do. I had to scale workout a lot which was very frustrating but everyone at CFL was supportive and I started making progress quickly!
3. Has your attitude changed since starting CrossFit?
I think more positively at the gym now, after saying ‘can’t’ too many times and being told off by friends and coaches, I’ve started thinking I ‘can’ a lot more which has helped me a lot! My attitude towards fitness in general has changed a lot too, I used to think I was quite fit before my injury but I’d never picked up a barbell before joining CFL- I wish I’d known about crossfit sooner!
4. How would you describe CrossFit Leyland?
Fun, friendly and addictive!
5. What would you say to anyone who is thinking about giving CrossFit a go?
Do it!!!!!
